What is a reference resource?

A reference resource (print or digital) provides a relatively short definition of a word or overview of a subject. There are many different kinds of reference sources, including: dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, and handbooks.

Reference Sources

Reference sources include encyclopedias, dictionaries and handbooks. They can help you get a general overview of a topic. Some reference sources are available online and other titles are only available in print in the library's Reference Collection (on the second floor.)
