Library Pick Up Hours

Patrons can request items via OneSearch and library staff will pull and checkout items for patrons. Materials can be picked up at the library exit doors in the breezeway. See Front Door Circulation hours here

Meriam Library study spaces and stacks are closed to patrons at this time, with most faculty and staff working remotely. Many of our services are available online.

Checking Out Materials

Items can be requested for pickup through OneSearch. Click the "request" link on a record. More information on Requesting titles from the Meriam Library.

Once a request is placed, you will receive an email when the item is checked out to you and ready for pickup. We are currently not circulating items to Courtesy and Non Affiliated Users.

The technology lending program is still in effect, however we have limited the circulating items to the following:

Visit the above links for links to the record pages in OneSearch. Once there, log in with your Portal ID and password and a blue request icon will appear. Click this and you will receive an email when the item is ready for pick up at the library breezeway doors.

ITSS may be able to loan laptops.


Due Dates

We are working on extending due dates for our items. Login to your Library Account to see what is checked out to and your current due dates.

Most of our items do not have a late fee, however reserve (including Student Learning Fee books) are $1.00 per hour up to $50.

Items not returned 7 days after the due date will incur a replacement fee.

Returning Items

Books can be returned to the library breezeway drop box or to our new curbside drop off in the Student Service Center pull through. They can also be dropped off at any CSU library that is accepting books and they will send your item back to us. Technology cannot be dropped off at other CSUs but can be returned during library book pick up hours.

Please note:

All items are undergoing a 72 hour quarantine period before they are checked in. This includes reserve items.

Please check your Library Account for the due dates and contact us if you have questions.

Overdue/Lost Notices

The library sends out notices to inform patrons of which titles they have out. Overdue items are considered lost if they are not returned by the due date. If you still have items that were marked as lost, you may either return them or contact circulation to extend your due date. Once your item(s) are returned, you will no longer have a bill for these items.

You may return items to our new curbside drop box in the Student Services Center pull through or the library return box in the library breezeway.
