It is often asked why go through the library databases to access articles when there are many articles available on the internet.
For the case of Town Hall, there are specific newspapers and magaznines that your artilcles must come from (listed on your assignment handout). These sources are reputable, reliable, and authoritative sources of news.
A few of these publications are availableon the internet, including The New York Times. Some have limited access and some require a subscription. The library provides access to all of the publications needed for POLS 155 through a library subscription.
It is your decision to use the publications available through the online version or the library version. Be sure to apply the same standards of evaluation to the online version as to the library version:
