Search Plan

  • Library ReSEARCH Station > Databases by Subject

  • Select NetAdvantage, MergentOnline and/or Factiva > Use the "company name" search box  or tab

  • Search by Ticker Symbol or the name of the parent company (Pepsico not Pepsi)

  • Browse the corporate section of the company website. Look under "investor relations"

Find these databases on the ReSEARCH Station under Databases By Subject > Business.

  • NetAdvantage (Standard & Poor's)
    Use the Company tab. Includes information on executives and directors.
  • Hoover's Company Records
    Available in ABI/Inform from the Browse tab.
  • Mergent Online
    Search by company name or ticker. Find financials, history, joint ventures, equity, executives and more.
  • Factiva
    Use the Companies/Markets tab to search by company name. From the company page, select Reports > Financial Health.
  • Lexis Nexis Academic
    Select Business > Company Dossier
  • IBISWorld  
      
    Use the Company tab, find info on personnel, financials, NAICS codes, and industry analysis.
